APPOINTMENT POLICY

APPOINTMENT POLICY

  

All visits are scheduled by appointment to allow adequate time and attention for each patient. We strive to stay on schedule; emergencies, complex cases, or staffing limitations may cause delays. We will communicate delays as promptly as possible. 


Due to caseload or staffing, we may occasionally be unable to see your pet and will provide guidance for urgent or emergency care when needed.

If you expect to be late, please call us. Arrivals more than 5 minutes late may result in one of the following: being seen for your appointment if time permits; hospital admission for treatment later in the day; or rescheduling. You may be required to make a deposit for future appointments after repeated late arrivals.

VETERINARY CLIENT PATIENT RELATIONSHIP (VCPR)

  

Please provide at least 24 hour notice for cancellations. Arriving 20 minutes late or failing to appear is considered a No-Show. After two No-Shows, a non-refundable deposit, the equivalent of an office visit fee, will be required to schedule future appointments. Surgery appointments require 24 hour notice of cancellation or will be considered a no-show that may require a nonrefundable deposit equal to ½ of the surgery estimate to reschedule. Deposits apply to the scheduled visit but are forfeited without proper notice of cancellation.

A valid VCPR requires at least an annual exam and ongoing medical record documentation. Prescription medications and specific medical advice cannot be provided without a current VCPR.

RETRACTABLE LEASH/CARRIER POLICY

  

Payment in full is required at the time of discharge. We do not offer payment plans. Written estimates are available upon request prior to approving diagnostics or treatment. Accepted forms of payment include Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, and CareCredit.

All pets must be secured on a non-retractable leash or in a carrier. 


Retractable leashes are not permitted. A slip-leash will be provided if necessary.

Prescription refills require 24 hour notice. Prescription medications cannot be returned once they leave the clinic. Eligible unopened items may incur a 25% restocking fee. Prescription diet refunds may be available per manufacturer guarantees and will be issued via the original payment method or account credit.
