Dr. Janine Callen
is the owner of Twinbrook Animal Clinic, Inc. She is a 1994 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Vermont for two years, then in Pittsburgh for a year and a half before purchasing Twinbrook Animal Clinic, Inc. in 1997. |

Dr. Laurie Schessler
started here as an associate veterinarian in August 2003. She is a 1995 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked as a small animal practitioner in the Pittsburgh area for the eight years prior to becoming a member of our team. In her spare time she enjoys scuba diving and working outdoors with her ornamental fish pond. |
Dr. Courtney Bennett graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She has worked as a small animal practitioner after moving back to Pittsburgh two years ago. Dr. Bennett became an associate veterinarian at our clinic in May, 2006. |

Dr. Leeann Oliver has been an associate since 1999. She graduated from Tufts University of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She has lived and practiced in Butler County since graduation. She is interested in many aspects of traditional medicine and received post graduate training in Veterinary Acupuncture.

Dr. Shawna Rau is a graduate of Cornell University and completed her veterinary degree at The Ohio State University in 1998. After graduation she worked in a small animal private practice in Boston. She has returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh with her husband (also a veterinarian), her 2 sons, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a tank full of fish. Although she keeps busy with work and family, Dr. Rau enjoys all indoor and outdoor sports (as both a spectator and participant), good food, and day-dreaming about future travels. |
